Common Questions

Certified business valuations often range from $10,000 to $20,000, depending on the level of analysis required. Because our core practice is business brokerage, we’re able to leverage our resources and systems to offer standalone informational valuation reports at a fraction of that cost.

Our goal is to make credible, data-driven valuations accessible to business owners who want professional insight without the typical expense of a certified appraisal.

Our advisors can certainly provide a ballpark estimate based on market trends, but a professional valuation report involves a far more detailed and comprehensive process. We analyze every aspect of your business, interview you to uncover hidden value, and select market comparables by hand. The result is a solid, defensible valuation that holds up during negotiations and gives you the confidence to move forward with clarity.

For complex or high-value transactions that require certified expertise, our firm partners with credentialed valuation professionals, including AICPA-certified and NACVA-accredited appraisers. Through these partnerships, we can facilitate Prequalified and Certified Valuation Reports that meet formal standards such as USPAP. These reports are ideal for situations involving legal matters, estate or gift planning, partner buyouts, or mergers and acquisitions requiring a defensible, third-party opinion of value. When needed, we’ll coordinate directly with our valuation partners to ensure you receive the right level of certified analysis and documentation.

Getting started is simple. The data collection process typically takes 10–15 minutes, and we only ask for what’s essential to prepare an accurate valuation.
